Timberwolves stay alive in enemy territory
The Maverick’s backcourt duo, Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic could not get their team over the hump down the stretch. Both Irving and Doncic amassed several turnovers and made all the wrong decisions when it mattered the most in the fourth quarter. Irving ended the night with 16 points, 4 assists, and 4 turnovers while shooting 33% from the field and 16% from three. Ending with a triple-double, Doncic scored 28 points, grabbed 15 rebounds, and dished out 10 assists while shooting 33% from the field and 36% from three. As for the role players, Daniel Gafford played tremendous defense ending the night with a game-high 3 blocks and 16 points. Jaden Hardy came off the bench and scored 13 points in 12 minutes, but the rest of the supporting cast failed to show up
my 2024 playoff predictions
The 2024 NBA Postseason is looking to be another thriller. Many teams in the league have a legitimate claim to the title this year. Younger teams like the OKC Thunder are ready to make noise and prove everyone wrong, while old teams like the Lakers and the Warriors are fighting tooth and nail in the play-in tournament. When looking back on this season, many will denote it as the specific season when the new generation took the mantle from the older players. I personally believe the Celtics, Nuggets, and Clippers have the best shot at hanging up a banner. However with teams like the Timberwolves, Mavericks, and Thunder, anything can happen.
Are we done with the 90s?
Michael Jordan is a basketball player that was so great for his time, he inspired generations to come and changed the NBA forever. The same players we idolize today, idolized him growing up. Jordan is a man who gave everything except his left hand to the game of basketball, and his impact is still felt today. However, the day has come where we must reevaluate his greatness and ask ourselves; who is the greatest of all time?
